SPORTiVAL Booking Terms & Conditions
Accommodation:
Accommodation at The Manor Resort is booked separately and directly with The Manor Resort. All accommodation bookings, payments, amendments and cancellations are therefore subject to The Manor Resort’s own booking terms and conditions.
SPORTiVAL and PicklePals are not responsible for accommodation bookings or accommodation cancellation charges.
SPORTiVAL bookings:
SPORTiVAL passes, Rally21 entries, day-visitor passes and any SPORTiVAL extras are booked through PicklePals and are subject to the following term
To help ensure fair access to activities with limited capacity, each participant may book *no more than one session of each bookable Saturday SPORTiVAL activity type.
Where the same activity is offered at more than one time, the different time slots are alternative sessions of the same activity and must not both be booked by the same person. For example, where two coaching sessions are offered, a participant may book one coaching session, but not both. This does not prevent the participant from also booking other different Saturday activities, subject to availability.
PicklePals Scramble games are exempt from this restriction. Scramble games do not require advance booking and participants may play as many games as they wish, subject to availability on the day.
Where more than one session of the same bookable activity type has been reserved for the same participant, SPORTiVAL/PicklePals reserves the right to cancel the additional session or sessions and release those places for other participants.
Cancellations and refunds:
We understand that plans can change.
If you cancel your SPORTiVAL booking more than 30 days before the event, you will receive a full refund of the SPORTiVAL fees you have paid.
If you cancel within 30 days of the event, your booking is non-refundable. This is because, by this stage, we will have committed to event costs, facilities, catering, staffing, participant materials and other arrangements based on confirmed numbers.
If you are unable to attend, we will normally allow you to transfer your booking to another person, provided you contact us in advance and the replacement participant meets any relevant entry requirements.
If a cancelled place can subsequently be resold, we will act reasonably in determining whether any refund can be made, taking account of any costs already incurred.
If SPORTiVAL is cancelled:
If we have to cancel SPORTiVAL and cannot provide the event you have booked, you will be entitled to a refund of the SPORTiVAL fees paid to us.
Accommodation, travel and other arrangements made separately are not part of your SPORTiVAL booking and should be dealt with directly with the relevant provider.
If SPORTiVAL has to be postponed, we will offer you the opportunity to transfer your booking to the new date or receive a refund of your SPORTiVAL booking.
Changes to the programme:
SPORTiVAL is a live sporting event and occasionally activities, coaches, timings, facilities or other elements of the programme may need to change.
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes where necessary. Where the event still goes ahead substantially as advertised, minor programme or timetable changes will not normally entitle you to a refund.
Participation:
Participants are responsible for making sure they are medically and physically able to take part in the activities they choose.
Please follow any instructions given by SPORTiVAL, The Manor Resort, coaches or activity leaders. We may prevent someone from taking part where we reasonably believe their participation could create a safety risk to themselves or others.
Personal belongings and liability:
Please take reasonable care of your own belongings during the weekend.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
